At Wild Dunes Resort, each day invites you to relax, reconnect, and rediscover the simple joys that make time feel richer.
Set along the pristine shoreline of Isle of Palms, Wild Dunes blends Lowcountry charm with the quiet rhythm of island living—a place where the dunes, marsh, and sea make both relaxation and adventure feel natural.
Designed like a village by the sea, the resort is inviting and wonderfully connected. Wander between pools and beach paths, savor coastal cuisine, bike beneath the oaks, or play an oceanfront round of golf. Whether you’re here as a family, a group, or on a restorative getaway, meaningful moments await.
Rooted in community and shaped by its coastal surroundings, Wild Dunes is where traditions grow and connections deepen. More than a vacation, it’s a feeling—of ease, belonging, and time well spent.
Before it became a coastal retreat, the northern end of Isle of Palms was all dunes, marsh, and wild shoreline. In the 1970s, Sea Pines began shaping a community that embraced the island’s natural landscape.
The turning point came in 1980 with Tom Fazio’s first solo design—the celebrated Links Course—which inspired the name “Wild Dunes.” The Harbor Course, acclaimed tennis, and a growing village soon followed.
Through decades of evolution and renewal, the island’s spirit has remained constant. Today, Wild Dunes is still defined by its coastal beauty, resilient landscape, and generations of guests who return year after year.
